A kitchen is only as good as the way it's fitted. Fix and Build fits new kitchens across Glasgow, whether you've chosen yours from one of the big suppliers or ordered it online, and we repair and update kitchens that are tired or damaged.
Glasgow walls are rarely straight, especially in older flats, so we take the time to get units level, square and neatly scribed to the walls, so doors line up and worktops sit true.

Units
Base and wall units assembled, levelled and fixed securely, including into old lath and plaster walls.
Worktops
Worktops cut and fitted with tight joints and neat cut-outs for sinks and hobs.
Doors, drawers and handles
Hung and adjusted so the gaps are even and everything opens smoothly.
Finishing
End panels, plinths, cornice and filler pieces fitted for a clean, built-in look.
Our plumber and electrician, or yours
We work with our own plumber and electrician, so we can organise the whole kitchen for you, or we'll fit around your own trades. Gas hobs and cookers must be connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Kitchen repairs and updates
Not every kitchen needs replacing. We fix sagging doors and broken hinges, secure loose units, replace damaged or swollen plinths and end panels, and fit new doors, worktops or handles to existing units to give a kitchen a new lease of life.
Made-to-measure units
For awkward alcoves, sloping walls and spaces standard units won't fit, we can make units to measure in our workshop in Govan. See our bespoke joinery page.

Can you fit a kitchen I've bought myself?
Yes. We fit kitchens from the big suppliers as well as ones ordered online. Send us the plan and we'll give you a fixed price to fit it.
Do you do the plumbing and electrics?
We work with our own plumber and electrician, so we can organise the whole job, or we'll work alongside yours.
Can you replace just the doors or the worktop?
Yes. New doors, handles or worktops on sound existing units are often the most cost-effective way to update a kitchen.
How long does it take to fit a kitchen?
It depends on the size of the kitchen and what else is involved, such as plumbing, electrics or flooring. We'll give you a timeline with your quote.
